Image: Adelaide pre-scuttling
Description: Photograph of the former Royal Australian Navy frigate Adelaide. She is tied up alongside at White Bay in Sydney Harbour, and is awaiting a court decision to determine if she is to be scuttled as planned, or disposed of in another way. In preperation for the scuttling, the ships masts have been cut down, her weapons have been removed, and diver access holes (the square 'panels' along the flank) have been cut — the sections of hull will be removed once she has been towed into position.
