Description: Calcite (Var.: Cobaltoan Calcite) Locality: Bou Azzer District, Tazenakht, Ouarzazate Province, Souss-Massa-Draâ Region, Morocco (Locality at mindat.org) Admittedly a bit “matrixy” and not as bright pink, but this one has the largest crystals of the whole batch – to 1.5 cm. They are a differrent habit with modified scalenohedra and a slight matte texture to the surfaces. 6 x 4.5 x 4.5 cm
