Description: The former Columbia Hospital for Women located at 2425 L Street, NW in the West End neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The hospital was chartered by Congress in 1866 and closed in 2002. The Italianate building, designed by Nathan C. Wyeth in 1916, is now used for residential purposes.
