Description: Tea picking being done by women tea laborers at a Darjeeling Tea estate. The plucking period is during the four Darjeeling Tea seasons mainly Darjeeling First Flush, Darjeeling Second Flush, Monsoon and Autumn Flush. Most of the teas plucked are done by women known for their tender plucking which is much needed to retain the two leaf and a bud intact. Thus resulting in the best of tea processing and a good high quality Darjeeling Tea. These women folk are the heart of Darjeeling Tea industry and without them, nothing would have been possible.
