Image: Enlarged gallbladder with gallstone and cholecystitis
Description: CT scan with contrast in a 44 year old woman presenting with right-sided pain indicating appendicitis. However, it shows a gallbladder (in the image's left side) with cholecystitis, causing enlargement so that the inferior part reaches the lower right part of the abdomen where the appendix can normally be found. The cholecystitis is presumably caused by a gallstone seen as a circular object in the superior part of the gallbladder.
