Description: Workers and their "carretas" (a type of horse-drawn cart that was the vehicle used by the transport of goods in those times). Their wheels were made of wood and iron and the roof covered with leather. Carretas were also used to deliver mail, covering the long distances of the Argentine territory. The photo was taking at the Constitución market in Buenos Aires.
