Description: Painting of Octavia Celestia Valentine Walton while her family was living in Pensacola, Florida. They relocated to nearby Mobile, Alabama in 1835, where she married Dr. Henry Le Vert. She later became a noted socialite and author in that city. She was best known then simply as Madame Le Vert.
