Type D is a flanged mouthpiece with twin lugs at the end of a flexible U-shaped elbow designed to be combined with a straight barrel to create a J-shaped snorkel.
Type E is a flanged mouthpiece with twin bite plates offset at an angle from a contoured snorkel.
