Description: Truchas Peaks of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains — seen from Española, New Mexico (near the industrial park, I think). Snow is blowing from the tops. South Truchas Peak is the second highest independent peak in the state, at 13,102 feet (3,993 m) in elevation. The peaks are in the Pecos Wilderness area — within Santa Fe National Forest.
