After finishing her studies, Lotte became a performing artist. She played her music in many places across Germany and other parts of Europe. In 1931, she moved to Berlin, where she lived for the rest of her life until 1990.
Becoming a Composer
Lotte didn't just perform; she also loved creating music. From 1935 to 1938, she studied how to compose at the Prussian Academy of Arts. She wrote many different types of music. This included two operas, which are big musical plays, and a symphony, which is a long piece for an orchestra. She also composed music for choirs and for the organ.
