Mtavari Arkhi (which means "Main Channel" in Georgian) is a TV company in Georgia. It is a private company, meaning it is owned by individuals, not the government.
The channel started on August 17, 2019. Its first broadcasts began a bit later, on September 9, 2019. Some people own parts of the channel. For example, Zaza Okuashvili owns 40% and Nika Gvaramia owns 12%. Many people who work at Mtavari Arkhi used to work for another TV channel called Rustavi 2.
Mtavari Arkhi broadcasts all over Georgia. You can watch it in different ways. It is available through regular TV signals (open air). You can also watch it via satellite, through cable TV companies, and using internet-based TV services (IP televisions).
