The Myreton Motor Museum is a cool place near the village of Aberlady, East Lothian, Scotland. It's a museum that shows off lots of vehicles and items from the past, mostly from the 1900s. It's a great spot to see how cars, motorcycles, and other transport have changed over time!
What You Can See
The Myreton Motor Museum has a fantastic collection of old vehicles. You can see all sorts of things like big trucks, cool cars, speedy motorcycles, and even bicycles. They also have lots of interesting items related to driving, plus toy cars from way back at the start of the 1900s!
One special car you'll find there is a 1989 Jaguar XJS. This car was given to the museum in 2006 by a famous British politician named Sir Menzies Campbell. He was a Member of Parliament (which means he was elected to help make laws for the country). He donated the car because he had promised to do something good for the environment when he was trying to become the leader of his political group, the Liberal Democrats.
How It Started
The Myreton Motor Museum first opened its doors in August 1966. It was started by a person named William P. Dale, who was also known as "Willie."
