St. Donatus is a small city in Jackson County, Iowa, in the United States. In 2020, about 120 people lived there. This city is special because it's known as a "Luxembourger village." This means many of its first settlers came from Luxembourg.
The city has old, beautiful buildings and great views along U.S. Route 52. It's also home to a historic Catholic church. This church is named after Saint Donatus of Muenstereifel, who is also the city's namesake. Long ago, the city was called Tete Des Morts. This is the name of a creek that flows through the area.
