Quenton Terrell Lowery (born October 25, 1970) is an American former baseball player. He played for several teams in Major League Baseball (MLB), including the Chicago Cubs, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and San Francisco Giants.

Early Life and High School Sports
Terrell Lowery grew up in Oakland, California. He went to Oakland Technical High School. While there, he was a talented basketball player. He averaged 25 points per game. He also won many awards for his skills in the area and across the state.
College Basketball Career
After high school, Lowery continued his basketball career in college. He played for Loyola Marymount University. During his time there, his team made it to the Elite Eight. This is a very important round in the NCAA college basketball tournament. He was also a teammate of another famous player, Bo Kimble. Lowery was involved in a well-known play. He made an alley-oop pass to his teammate, Hank Gathers.
Professional Baseball Career
Even though he was a great basketball player, Terrell Lowery chose to play professional baseball. He made his debut in Major League Baseball (MLB) in 1997. His first team was the Chicago Cubs. He played for the Cubs in 1997 and 1998. Later, he joined the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 1999. His final MLB team was the San Francisco Giants in 2000. During his MLB career, he had a batting average of .282. He hit 3 home runs and had 23 runs batted in.
