The Story of Valentino's
Valentino's was started by a couple named Val and Zena Weiler. They opened their first restaurant in 1957. It quickly became a favorite spot for Italian food.
New Owners and Growth
In 1971, two families from Lincoln bought the restaurant. They had a big idea to help Valentino's grow. They started letting other people open Valentino's restaurants. This is called franchising. It means a business lets other people use its name and ideas to open new locations.
Different Ways to Eat
Valentino's also changed how people could get their food. In 1990, they opened their first carry-out store. This meant you could order food and take it home to eat. Later, in the early 2000s, many of their bigger restaurants changed. They became "buffet" style. A buffet lets you choose from many different foods and eat as much as you like for one price.

As of 2020, Valentino's has many restaurants. There are 34 locations, all of them are in the state of Nebraska.
