Fatema Gulamabbas Dewji (Born 4th March 1988 in Dar Es Salaam) is a Tanzania businessperson and author. She is among the youngest women entrepreneurs in Tanzania. Fatema is the founder of FD Movement Brand and EEI (Educate, Empower and Inspire). She is Director of Marketing at Mohammed Enterprises Tanzania Limited (MeTL) Group. In 2020, Fatema was awarded as Best Corporate Leader of the Year on Social Media at Tanzania Digital Awards. She is also the author of the book "Marketing for an African Powerhouse" and “Storyteller: Build a Story for your Brand, Capture Hearts and Transform your Business.” Fatema was also a guest speaker at CNBC and TEDx
Early Life & Career
Born Fatema Gulamabbas Dewji on the 4th of March 1988 in Dar-Es-salaam, Tanzania. Fatema is the last of six ( 6 ) children of Gulamabbas and Zubeda Dewji and sister to a Tanzania Billionaire Mohammed Dewji. In 2010, she graduated her Bachelor's Degree in Management and Finance at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Soon after completed her university degree in 2010, she went back to Tanzania and she was appointed as the Director of Marketing at Mohammed Enterprises Tanzania Limited (MeTL) Group.
