A third Fire Island is in Cook Inlet, just off Anchorage, the largest and most well known of all of them.

Denali Park Chalet The small island on the Nenana River located on the border of Denali National Park and the Chalets hotel area was also known as Fire Island. This is because of its smaller scale resemblance to Anchorage's Fire Island, as well as the fact that the employees of the chalet use the island to host occasional fires. This was before employees were not allowed to live at the Chalets (which changed after the summer of 2013).
