Heida Reed (born May 22, 1988) is an actress and model from Iceland. Her full name is Heiða Rún Sigurðardóttir. She is famous for her roles in TV shows and movies. You might know her from Poldark (2015–2019). She also starred in FBI: International (2021–2024).

About Heida Reed
Heida Reed was born in Iceland. She is the middle child of three. Her dad was a music teacher, and her mom was a dental hygienist. Heida grew up in a part of Reykjavík called Breiðholt. She went to Ölduselsskóli for her schooling.
Early Career and Moving Abroad
When Heida was 18, an Icelandic modeling agency found her. She then moved to Mumbai, India, to work as a model. She lived and worked there for two years. After her time in India, she moved to London. There, she studied acting at Drama Centre London. She finished her studies in 2010.
Personal Life
In July 2017, Heida Reed shared exciting news. She announced her engagement to her boyfriend, Sam Ritzenberg. Sam is a producer who lives in America. They got married in 2018.
Heida Reed's Acting Journey
Heida Reed's first acting job was in 2009. She performed in a play called Cross Purpose. This play was part of the Edinburgh Fringe festival. Critics said her acting was "expertly done."
Starring in Poldark
In the same year, Heida got a big role in a British TV show. It was a historical drama called Poldark. The show was based on popular novels. Heida played the character of Elizabeth. She was in all five seasons of the series.
