Description: Preserved former Union Pacific EMD GP30, No 844: Now Mount Hood Geep 9 M #90 in 1990, & Southern Pacific Railroad GS-4 #4458 in 1991, which at one time necessitated the renumbering of steamer Union Pacific 844 to Union Pacific 8444 from 1962-1989: Mount Hood GEEP 9 Mac #90: 6/4/1990 Since Southern Pacific Railroad GS 4 #4458 in 1991[1] at the Nevada State Railroad Museum which is an agency of the Nevada Department of Cultural Affairs. It is located at Yucca Street on the tracks of the historic Union Pacific Railroad branch Henderson-Boulder City near the former Boulder City Railroad Yards where the Hoover Dam construction equipment was unloaded in the 1930s.
