Description: 144 South Oxford Street between Atlantic Avenue and Hanson Place in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City was built in 1912 as Elks Lodge #22 and was designed by H. Van Buren Magonigle and A. W. Ross. It was altered in 1955 by Weschler & Schimenti, and is now the Oxford Nursing Home. (Source: AIA Guide to NYC (5th ed.))
