Description: This is a Sentinel-2 image of the confluence of the Mackenzie and Laird Rivers at Fort Simpson, Northwestern Territories, Canada. It shows the characteristic sediment pattern: the Laird entering from the South has muddy water while the Mackenzie is relatively clear, and the two don't mix for a long distance. Fort Simpson is in the bottom right, directly at the confluence.
