Description: The Presidential Townhouse is located at 716 Jackson Place on Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C. The building is a contributing property to the Lafayette Square Historic District and houses the Office of the National Cyber Director. It was built in 1867 for Mary Jessup Blair. Previous occupants include Senator Arthur Pue Gorman, attorney George F. Appleby, attorney William J. Boardman and his daughter Mabel Thorp Boardman, Senator David B. Hill, Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., Assistant Secretary of State Francis B. Loomis, the Justice Department, the Committee on Public Information, the U.S. Bulletin Service, the Roger W. Babson Statistical Center, and the Mellon Trust.
