Appears to be a coloured-in version of John Maurer's engraving "A perspective view of Whitehall", which appeared as Plate 24 of the 1754-5 edition of John Stow's "A Survey of the Cities of London and Westminster"; cf Government Art Collection copy The Royal Academy lists the same work as Plate 1 of a bound set of twelve plates, first issued in 1740. (RA accession number 06/3121) The National Trust has an oil-painting version of the same scene, accession number 1514044. (Your paintings)
