Description: An image of the interior of the abbey of the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Georgia. Great care and effort were taken to portray as closely as possible the true colors and light level perceived by a dark-adapted human eye. The image was created from two separate images stitched into a vertical panorama allowing the full structure of the building to be seen in a single image. Highlights in the stained glass windows and light shafts were controlled through conservative use of manual exposure blending. Determination of hue and saturation were aided by notes taken on-site at the time of exposure. Other than the above, the image had only relatively minor edits to contrast, exposure, white balance, sharpening etc.
