Description: Amarna necklace. Faience, 8 rows of beads. Beads of many shapes and colors: bunches of grapes, white petals, red petals, red dates, yellow mandrakes, yellow dates, turquoise pendants, green and blue corn flowers, and green palm-leafs. The 11th turquoise bead on the right bears the cartouche of Akhenaten. From Amarna, Egypt. 18th Dynasty. The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, London.
