Description: Attenborough Nature Reserve, situated next to the River Trent in Nottinghamshire, has developed from several former gravel pits that have been flooded to create lakes with nature trails between. Secluded islands, as well as the lakes themselves, provide excellent habitats for a diverse range of wildlife. These pictures shows just some of the birds that enjoy this reserve.
