Description: Aerial view of the construction of Atlanta's Westside Park reservoir component. The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management's construction of a new, larger reservoir for the City of Atlanta. Tunnels were dug from this decommissioned quarry to the nearby Chattahoochee River and the water treatment facility on Howell Mill Rd. Once the tunnels and new pumping station is complete, the quarry will be filled with water from the Chattahoochee River.
