Description: AWM description: Korea. Members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment's (3RAR), and Nationalist Chinese troops bring in an Australian casualty to the Regimental Aid Post (RAP) from Operation Commando. The operation took place from 3-7 October 1951, between the Imjin and Samichon Rivers. Note the bundles of shell dressings and the surgical instruments.
