Description: Baldock, formerly the location of a film studio which swiftly folded, the building then became for many years the Kayser Bondor ladies stocking factory (which temporarily produced parachutes during World War II). Its Art Deco facade still stands — converted to a Tesco supermarket in the late 1980s.
