Description: Banks & Huntley Building — 632 South Spring Street, Downtown Los Angeles, California. It is now known as The Nonprofit Center, housing the national and regional offices for MALDEF, a Latino civil rights organization. The 1930 high rise was designed by John and Donald Parkinson in the Art Deco—Moderne style. It is a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, within the Spring Street Financial District (NRHP historic district).
