Description: Central administration building of the German trade union Verdi (an abbreviation of "Vereinigte Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft" - "United Services Union") on Paula-Thiede-Ufer, corner of Engeldamm (on the left) in Berlin-Mitte. The building was constructed 2002 to 2004 to a design by the architects Michael Kny and Thomas Weber. The main wing on Paula-Thiede-Ufer is used by Verdi's federal administration office and the federal executive board, the wing on Köpenicker Straße by the state district office for Berlin-Brandenburg and by the district office for Berlin.
