Description: Big Dig Archaeological Site, also known as the Cumberland Street Archaeological Site located between Cumberland and Gloucester Streets in The Rocks in the City of Sydney, New South Wales. Located above the archeoloiral site is the Youth Hostels Australia Sydney Harbour premises. The ground floor level of the hostels serves as a void to protect the big site; with the hostel rising three stories above the big site.
