Description: Pictured at Walsall is a new Class 730/0 (730002) for West Midlands Trains that will operate on the Cross City Line, replacing the existing Class 323 EMU units. In March 2021, 730002 began testing and accumulating miles on the routes that all variants of this train will operate on, including the outer-suburban and long distance routes that the 5 car 730/1 and 730/2 units that will serve the London Northwestern Railway sub-brand of West Midlands Trains.
