Description: Lukens Historic District a National Historic Landmark since April 19, 1994, includes 50, 53, 76, and 102 South 1st Street, Coatesville, Chester County, Pennsylvania. This is 102 called Bradywine Mansion. George Washington is believed to have slept here on his return from the Whiskey Rebellion (only the short part of the house was built then). Rebecca Lukens lived here, while running what became Lukens Steel Co.
