Description: Several thousands of people, many of them dressed in purple (the symbolic color of anti-bullying) formed a human chain on the sidewalk across the Golden Gate Bridge to peacefully oppose the inauguration of president Donald J. Trump. Called “Bridge Together Golden Gate,” the event was described as the first-ever human chain across the bridge. The group organizing the event aimed at creating “a human bridge of togetherness” focused on positivity.
