Description: View of railroad approaches to the Brooklyn Bridge, New York City. Looking north. On the left, under the elevated tracks leading down to the Ferry under the bridge, is Fulton Street with Court Street ending on its left. In the right is Washington Street, later renamed Cadman Plaza East, running past the Post Office in the lower right corner. Beyond the Post Office, the unwidened Tillary Street runs east / west. Between them, to the left (west) of Washington, the large trolley station shown has been replaced by Cadman Plaza. Photo taken after the area was cleared for widening the roadway approach to the Brooklyn Bridge.
