The house was built in 1898, for Alexander M. Byers, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Architects: Alden & Harlow. Architectural style: Renaissance Revival, Other, Châteauesque (perhaps). Today, the former mansion is now a student center for the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC).
