Description: A small coral exhibit at the Steinhart Aquarium of the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, California. A copperband butterflyfish (Chelmon rostratus) is at left, and a cryptic yellowspotted scorpionfish (Sebastapistes cyanostigma) just right of center. Staghorn coral (Acropora spp.) dominates the middle of the scene, while frogspawn coral (Euphyllia spp.), green due to its symbiotic algae, is prominent at left, with poisonous fire coral (Millepora spp.) behind it. Noncolonial plate corals (Fungia spp.) are scattered across the bottom.
