Description: Camellia reticulata, a hand-coloured engraving after a drawing by Alfred Chandler (1804-1896), from Illustrations and Descriptions of the Plants which Compose the Natural Order Camellieae (1831) by Chandler and William Beattie Booth. This plant was introduced into England by the Horticultural Society's collector John Damper Parks in 1824 and named by John Lindley.
