Description: The Carefree Sundial. The largest sundial in the United States is a giant copper-clad fixture located in Sundial Circle in the town of Carefree, Arizona. It was built in 1959 and stretches 62 feet and points to the North Star. The sundial is the third largest in the Western Hemisphere.[1]
