Description: The trestle of Chillenden mill. Note the lack of birdsmouth joints at the junction of crosstree and quarterbar (a design fault reproduced in the rebuild in keeping with the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings Code of Practice). The right hand joint has been strenthened with iron straps.
