Description: The mouth of Citico Creek (across the river on the left) along the Little Tennessee River in the Southeastern U.S. The ancient Cherokee village of Citico was located at the confluence of these two streams. According to Cherokee lore, the mythical battle between the Tluwanas and the Uktena occurred here.
