Description: Day 2 June, 2000
On Day 2, we drove to Coba. Coba is a ruined Mayan city. What is really interesting about this site is the lack of restoration. Much of it remains in the jungle. Makes for a very nice contrast to Tulum and Chichen Itza, both of which we visited while there.
This temple is known as "The Church." This was the guide we hired while there. They are waiting near the front of the entrance. He was very helpful and informative.
