Description: Reverse view of the Jedburgh Comb, a comb found in Jedburgh Abbey. The comb was carved around 1100 from walrus ivory and this side is decorated with a man fighting a dragon. The comb only about 5 cm wide by 4.34 cm long, and is made from a single piece of walrus ivory. It was probably made about 1100, but it is not known whether in England or on the Continent.
