Description: The Cordell Hull Birthplace, near Byrdstown, Tennessee in the Southeastern United States. Hull (1871-1955) served as U.S. Secretary of State of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and played a pivotal role in the creation of the United Nations. His 1945 Nobel Peace Prize is on display in a museum adjacent to the cabin. The cabin and museum are both part of Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park.
