Description: The arms were officially granted on Dezember 16, 1909 and confirmed on March 20, 1979. The arms based on seal of 1508. The fess chequy is derived from the arms of the County of Mark. The meaning of the fleur-de-lis is not mentioned, but probably a symbol to distinguish it from the arms of the counts.
