Description: The Denver and Intermountain Railroad Interurban No. 25 in Lakewood, Colorado. The streetcar was built in 1911 by the Woeber Carriage Company in Denver, Colorado. It was retired from service on June 3, 1950 from the Denver and Intermountain Railroad and later restored by the Rocky Mountain Railroad Historical Foundation. The picture shows the streetcar in operation on track at the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood, Colorado. The small car attached to the back has a generator on it that supplies electricity to operate the tram. The streetcar is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
