Description: Sir Donald Stewart was the first resident and chief commissioner of Ashanti from 1986-1904.This monument served as a form of a central clock in the heart of (Adum) Kumasi. It was a special gift from special friends and admirers to Sir Donald Stewart both European and native as a token of respect and affection to his Excellence in the early 1907.
