A seaport shows the prosperity from peace. On the right of PEACE, a snapped sword, the crown of victory, JUSTICE holds a balance, UNITY a bundle of rods. A veil hides the figure of War from Peace. The arms of Salford and the Duchy of Lancaster are represented along with the Royal coat of arms. Above the building fly the flags of France, Turkey, Sardinia and Russia, with Britain in the middle.
