Description: East Gippsland Rail Trail, heading south-west (towards Bairnsdale) approx. 2km west of Bruthen alongside the Great Alpine Rd. Note the distance indicators on the sign at the right - by road, Bairnsdale is approx. 21km from this point. The trail is heading up a small hill from the road to the height of the original railway, which ran along the top of the embankment at left and crossed the road to a trestle bridge.
